Mother Nature provided a perfect morning for the mass ascension on Saturday morning, October 1st  .....  the opening event of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.  Fifty-seven NM Section members and their guests enjoyed New Mexico style breakfast burritos, muffins, and drinks provided by our gracious host Mercedes Benz of Albuquerque.  Located directly across I-25 from Balloon Fiesta Park, it was the perfect venue to take advantage of great photo ops.  There were new special-shapes balloons this year.  They are always fun to track across the sky.  Make a note to come join in the fun in 2017.
